Trees From Seeds
Most trees will long outlive the people who plant them, with a typical lifespan being about 100-200 years. There are many determining factors such as species, varieties and environmental conditions, which all play a big role.
Garden Tip 01
A bulb's leaves are its own built-in food factory, responsible for replenishing the underground bulb with nourishment as it forms the new flowers for next year. When cutting bulb flowers, be sure to only cut off the flower stalk and not the leaves.
The bulb foliage should be allowed to remain until it naturally dies down and turns brown. Removing the spent flower heads (dead-heading), allows the bulbs to put more energy into bud development for next year, and not into seed production.

Have some Wild(flower) times
Our native wildflowers are some of the most pervasive plants we have. All parts of South Africa have their own native species, with plant names often reflecting the location or environments where they are found. Although they grow naturally in fields, woods, by roadsides, and along stream beds, they are no less beautiful when grown in beds, borders or tree gardens around your home.
Tips for an all year good person garden
Plant five rows of P's: ...presence, ...promptness, ...preparation, ...perseverance, and purity.
Plant three rows of Squash: ...squash gossip, ...squash criticism, and squash indifference.
Then sow four rows of Lettuce: ...let us be faithful to our friends,...let us be unselfish and loyal,...let us have good fellowship, and let us be kind to one another.
No garden is complete without Turnips: ...turn up for all dates, ...turn up with a smile, ...turn up with new ideas, and turn up with the determination to make everything count for something good and worthwhile.

Starting your garden RIGHT the first time.
Gardening is a hobby that brings joy, entertainment, and a better quality of life. It is a creative activity, the result of which is a more aesthetically appealing home.
Thoughtful planning of a garden starts with the type of garden you would like to have. Deciding on a type of garden is essential before choosing which design elements to include. Will your garden be just a place to plant a bunch of flowers, which will blossom only during the growing season? Or would you rather have a thoughtfully-chosen herb garden? Or maybe just a vegetable plot?
