Lol, it's been quite a while since i've ventured online and it's only this week that i've realised i haven't updated my blog in almost 4 months. Lots have been happening since then.

JULY/AUGUST

Well we all hibernated through the worse months of winter (at least I did). Then in August, miracle of miracles, i met this tenacious young puppy who decided he likes me, whether or not i "like it" (which i do) and he won't let go... so I've now officially been seeing someone for 3 months (a new record by the way).

I think I'm more surprised that he's prepared to put up with this old bull's "bull" than anything else.

SEPTEMBER

September was hectic with my workload shifting and the adjustment of someone new in my life. Point in fact, i thought i'd told him not to interrupt me when i'm stuck into a good book... well that cost me a few hours of making up after snapping at him well it's always fun to make up after a fight

Well we did manage to spend some time with other Q'ers at the pre-pride picnic (i'm the one in the pink caftan) Check out the pics - HERE!

OCTOBER

October started with a bang, Pride 2009 was lotsa fun although i confess I was simply to lazy to do the march this year. Instead I chilled at Zoo lake with my friends. Check out the pics - HERE!

Of course we simply had to end it with a bang as well and Mini Cooper's 50th birthday party in Clarens, in the Free State was incredible... with 849 mini aficionados ( which incl quite a few "family members") trekking from all over the country to honour this iconic car. The highlight of the weekend (for me at least) was getting to take a "Mini JCW Cabriolet" for a spin at approx 180km p/h... Now if only i could afford to buy one

We did take some time out to discover the picturesque town of Clarens and we spent many hours browsing through all the art galleries and shops, not to mention the restaurants scattered through the town.
