Garden Tonic

A fresh gin cocktail for a lazy summers day

ice cubes
3-4 fresh mint leaves
2-3 slices cucumber
1 tsp elderflower cordial (we recommend the Woolies one)
3-4 dashes celery bitters (available from specialist drinks suppliers)
25ml/1fl oz gin
lime wedge, to garnish
tonic water, to top up

Half-fill a highball glass with ice cubes and add the mint leaves and cucumber.

Add the elderflower cordial, bitters and gin and stir.

Squeeze a little lime juice into the drink, then add the squeezed lime wedge to the glass. Top up with tonic water and serve.
