Everything Falls Into Place

Native South African, Rene Maurice's new gay novel - Everything falls into place - is a romantic, coming of age story.

'Everything Falls Into Place' was released in January this year through Amazon in digital and print editions and in the book first-time author René Maurice gives insight into the minds of two young guys as they discover love and the impact it has on their lives. Alternating first person narratives illustrate the experiences of shy farm boy Tristan and urban gym rat Stan as they realise their feelings for each other.

“Not only are they falling in love with each other, they are also on their own journeys of personal discovery. They both have issues which they wind up solving together,” the author says. “I set out to write a book that I would have wanted to read when I was younger, dealing with coming out and figuring out who I was,” he continues;“I hope it touches the hearts of young people and anyone who loves some romance.”

René Maurice grew up in South Africa to Dutch parents, before his family returned to the Netherlands in the 90s. He has been a professional editor for fifteen years, in biographical articles and interviews. Writing fiction in his spare time, it has been his lifelong dream to write and publish a novel. That dream has become reality with the release of Everything Falls Into Place.
